The proprietors, Robert and Elaine Jackson
We acquired extensive experience when running a successful country free-house in the Nene valley, Northamptonshire, receiving a number of accolades for our cuisine, Cask-Marque accreditation and winning several other quality awards for service.
The recipe for our success was reliability, good service and quality. Awarded Northamptonshire’s Pub of the Year and Best Food Pub in 2004 by Camra (Campaign for Real Ale), we featured in the Best Food Pub Guide as well as the Good Beer Guide. Approached by a nearby Community Centre having been let down at short notice we stepped in and our reputation for providing a reliable quality mobile bar soon spread. Deciding to return home to Flintshire in North Wales to spend more time with our young children, we are now dedicated to providing a mobile bar service for North Wales and the North West of England without the conflict of running a busy pub.
